SHOREFIELD SENDIRIAN BERHAD was incorporated on the 29th September 1993 as Electrical Contracting Company. The long-term objectives are to develop the power energy sector in Sarawak state.
Today, SHOREFIELD SENDIRIAN BERHAD has branches throughout Sarawak so as to cover the large geographical area for fast deployment of manpower and material to sites.
Core Competences
The Core Activities are:
- Electrification of rural communities in Sarawak
- To acquire and develop new methods of providing individual and independent power and energy sources to the isolated rural communities in Sarawak.
- To acquire and develop core expertise as an M & E Contractor that is capable of undertaking mega projects both locally and internationally.
Achivement
Shorefield has successfully implemented the Rural Electrification Scheme (RES) projects in Sarawak from 1994 until now.
Today, Shorefield Sdn Bhd has the capability to undertake design and planning, erection, installation, commissioning and maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical servicing works effectively and efficiently.
Resources
With a pool of electrical engineers and trained personnel, Shorefield is poised to take advantage of the opportunities in the massive Power and Telecommunication infrastructure development undertaken by both the private and public sectors.
We have, over the years, built up a pool of Bumiputra contractors who are specialists in the areas that we operate. We have also established various relationships with domestic and international consultants, suppliers and contractors to support our quality and services while still being competitive.
Future
In its efforts to expand beyond Sarawak, the company has formed an associated company, Innojasa Engineering Sdn. Bhd., with local parties in Sabah to undertake the Rural Electrification Scheme there. In West Malaysia, the company is collaborating with several partners in M&E projects.
Since its incorporation, the company is continuosly growing from strength to strength, through endless endeavour for modernisation and quality improvements, to become one of the most progressive Bumiputra electrical contractors in Sarawak.
